Welcome to Feral Flora!
At the core of my work is a simple intention: to create meaningful, nature-inspired pieces with honesty and care. I’m a flower farmer growing organic, seasonal blooms for wholesale and working directly with local floral designers throughout the growing season.
As a designer, much of my inspiration comes from the landscapes of the American West—the open plains, foothills, and wild spaces where I spend much of my time. My work is rooted in a desire to honor these lands and all they provide. At the heart of everything I create is a deeper truth: both horses and florals have offered me tremendous solace and healing throughout my life, shaping the way I design and connect to my craft.
My creative practice now centers on equine floral design—custom florals for horses and ponies for competitions, portraits, weddings, special events, and editorial or fashion shoots. This work blends my design background, my love of animals, and my connection to Western culture and landscape.
I also design florals for small, intimate weddings and create dried floral artwork, always with an emphasis on intentional sourcing and thoughtful craftsmanship.
Soon, I’ll be introducing Feral Flora Apparel—a curated collection of hand-selected new and vintage clothing rooted in natural fibers, timeless Western-inspired silhouettes, and a “wildly refined” aesthetic that reflects the values behind everything I do.
My loyal canine sidekick, Rodeo, is part of nearly every adventure and remains a constant source of joy and inspiration, you’ll find him in the studio, riding shot-gun on a flower delivery, and hanging out on the farm.
Ethical sourcing is central to my practice. Whether it’s the blooms I grow or the materials I choose, everything begins with respect for the natural world.
Thank you for being here and exploring my work. I look forward to creating an art piece, floral design, or clothing experience that feels deeply aligned with you.
Warm regards,
Riley & Rodeo
